BEST Computer Training provides a wide range of FREE training funded by the government to help get you back into work. Our free training focuses on practical skills that are essential for the workplace and aim to improve your employability and efficiency at work to hopefully increase your career prospects.

Maths and English
The most essential skills for almost any job in the UK. Whether you have come from abroad or you just need to brush up on your current skills or you just wanted to complete a GCSE equivalent in Maths or English, you can enrol onto an adult literacy or numeracy course easily and for free at any of our training centres and earn a recognised qualification accredited by City & Guilds.. These courses are free for all UK residents.

CV workshops
Learn how to make an effective CV that will stand out to employers and how to avoid common mistakes that spoil your chances at the right job for you. This course is free for most adult UK residents.

Interview Techniques Workshop
Learn about the Dos and Donts of interviews and how to make the right impression at a job interviews. This course is free for most adult UK residents.

Application Forms Workshop
It is easy to get confused by application forms, but with a little guidance, forms and applications can be a good way to make a good first impression before even attending an interview. This course is free for most adult UK residents.

Basic Internet and Email Training
BEST Computer Training are UK online centres and so offer free training in the basics of IT and Internet. Suitable for people with no prior experience with computers or the internet, these courses aim to help you get online and take advantage of the latest technologies of today. These courses are free to all.

Microsoft Office Training
Many jobs in today's workplace require some IT skills and knowing how to type and format a letter correctly, use a spreadsheet, create a database or make professional presentations could be the difference between getting the job you want and missing out. BEST Computer Training Centres offer online and CD-based Learndirect courses. For a full list of learndirect courses available at BEST Computer Training. You can visit the learndirect website, find the course you want and make an appointment to start at your nearest Training Centre.*

ECDL
Our Free IT courses lead to recognised qualifications in IT including NewCLAiT and European Computer Driving Licence or ECDL (known as ICDL outside of Europe). You can prepare for and take ECDL exams for free at our training centres.* You can also take some training that leads onto the Microsoft Office Specialist qualification though the MOS exams at BEST Computer Training are not free.

National Vocational Qualifications (NVQ)
We also offer a range of FREE NVQ courses, with funding available under the Train to gain scheme, in a variety of occupational areas.* The subjects that we offer are as follows:

• Customer Service NVQ (Level 2 and Level 3)
• Information Technology Qualification (ITQ) NVQ (Level 2 and Level 3)
• Business & Administration NVQ (Level 2 and Level 3)
• Management NVQ (Level 2 and Level 3)
• Teamleading NVQ (Level 2)

Along the way if there is a skill gap in your employee's Literacy or Numeracy, we can help them bridge that too under the Train to Gain contract.
